The Scottsdale Plaza Hotel is a luxury resort that has been under the same ownership for 30 years. The owners are very proud of their business, and it shows in their level of customer service. What impressed me the most about this hotel is that in addition to the standard guest rooms that it offers for patrons, it also places a high emphasis on business meetings, conventions, and conferences. However, the Scottsdale Plaza Hotel is also excellent for family vacations, romantic trips, and traveling businessmen. It offers fine dining, excellent recreational activities, and a number of other impressive features.

This hotel also has its own unique style. It uses a Mediterranean style format which makes it stand out from the many hotels in the Scottsdale area. The furniture is made from high end fabrics, and the floors are comprised of expensive hardwood. Of all the things I like about the Scottsdale Plaza Hotel, it is the large number of amenities which I find to be most impressive. Some of these amenities include telephones with voice mail, cable television, hair dryers, a mini bar, coffee makers, in room safes, in room movies, and electronic locks for your keys. They even throw in a Turkish robe that you can wear. There are few hotels in Scottsdale that can match the Scottsdale Plaza Hotel when it comes to the sheer number of amenities they offer.

The thing that I like about this hotel/resort is that their goal is clearly to pamper the customer as much as they can. And what can I say? I like being pampered, and I reckon most people do to, especially when it comes to staying at a hotel/resort. The next thing that I would like to talk about this the dining. While you're welcome to leave the resort to try out the restaurants in Scottsdale, you wouldn't want to do this without first trying out the five restaurants that are located within the hotel. These five restaurants are the Cafe Cabana, the Garden Court, Plaza Perfect Catering, J.D. Lounge, and Remington's.

Remington's is my favorite, since they offer a combination of both American and international cuisine. In addition to the great food, they also have impressive patio views. If you're a wine person, you will find that they have the best selection of regional wines. J.D. Lounge is an English pub where you can enjoy great food and play a game of pool. It is a sports lounge, so while you enjoy your meal, you can enjoy watching sports games at the same time. There is nothing like watching a game of football with your friends or family while enjoying great tasting beer. The five big screen TVs they have here will ensure that you never miss a play. They also throw in free popcorn, which I enjoyed a lot.

With the many amenities available, as well as the array of impressive restuarants, it is easy to see why the Scottsdale Plaza Hotel is one of the most impressive resorts in the city of Scottsdale. It easily gives its competitors a run for their money.
