Camelback Inn is a luxury resort and spa in Scottsdale that is owned by Marriot. The first thing you will notice about the Camelback Inn is the large number of suites it has. While each suite is unique, all of them offer a high level of luxury which the traveler will greatly enjoy. One suite that they have available is called the Jackrabbit Suite. This is a large casita that has a luxurious Southwest look with logs, a beamed ceilings, and French doors. There is also a fireplace available on both the inside and outside.

The Jackrabbit Suite is comprised of two Sonoran style bedrooms which are attached to the living room. For an extra fee, you can also get a suite with an additional room. This suite is excellent for social gatherings, and when you would rather eat in than out. Overall, like many hotels in the Scottsdale area, the Camelback INN uses a desert Southwestern style for its resort theme. Each room in the resort, especially the JackRabbit Suite, gives you a sense of warmth and tranquility.

I'm an advid player of gold, and the Camelback INN offers some impressive golf courses, most notably the Padre course. The Padre golf is world renown, and it has large trees, a well manicured lawn, and it comprises almost 7,000 yards. The water holes at the Padre course are quite challenging, and this course has been voted the best in the state of Arizona. After the Padre golf course, you could also try out the Indian Bend Course. This course uses a traditional style which involves lots of links. It has an awe inspiring setting with a beautiful scenery of mountains in the distance. If you love the challenge of golf, you will find that the Indian Bend Course will test your skills to the max.

When I take vacations, fine dining is one of my favorite activities. While the Camelback Inn has a number of excellent restaurants, one of my favorite is the Hoppin Jacks. This restaurant is excellent for both lunch, dinner, and breakfast. Much like the resort itself, the restaurant has a Southwestern feel to it, and they believe in using fresh ingredients in their food, which you can immediately tell from the taste. Starbucks lovers will also be pleased to fine that they can enjoy a hot cup of coffee or capuccino anytime they want, whether it is in the morning or evening.

Another impressive restaurant that you may enjoy is the golf grill. This quaint restaurant will be great for those who are looking for something different. While the menu at the Golf Grill is excellent, the scenery surrounding the grill is just as impressive, and adds to the experience. While you enjoy your meal, you can also keep up to date on the latest news with the state of the art televisions we have available in the grill. Overally, I found the Camelback INN to be a great experience, and I recommend for anyone who will be visiting the Scottsdale area, whether on business or for a vacation.
